Certification
SBA Certification Requirements
To receive certification, students will be required to demonstrate understanding and competencies of the course material through participation in small group project presentations and written papers. Presentation and written papers will be scored on a pass-fail basis.
Students who receive passing scores on their written papers and project presentation are eligible to take the National Sustainable Building Advisory Program certification examination. This examination consists of 250 true/false and multiple choice questions taken on-line. A 70% passing score entitles students to use the designation C.S.B.A. (Certified Sustainable Building Advisor) after their names on business cards, resumes and other appropriate professional documents.
Certification is granted by the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program.
